Each year, the School of Visual Arts hosts a motion screening event to honor the graduating class and display each student's motion projects. For the 2022 graduating class, I had the honor to create the opening and ending package.

Thinking Process
The animation storyline features masked characters scattered across different locations. A single light shines into the sky, signaling them to reunite after a long separation.
These masked characters represent SVA students and faculty members who have been attending online classes from various places due to COVID-19. The announcement of the first in-person SVA screening event in two years brings everyone back together to celebrate the occasion.
Creative Process
The design centers on a dreamy, immersive world divided into distinct environments including the mountains, forests, lakes, and towns which each represents where students are returning from and unite at the same place. The spaces must feel vast and majestic and also bring a celebratory moment which are embodied in each style-frame and animation.
